The Farm:
'Dairy Park' is a 2300 acre working farm set in the picturesque rolling hills of the central tablelands of New South Wales, offering 'Farmstay accommodation' & activities. The property has been in the Molloy family since the 1830’s. Grant and Liz run sheep for lambs and wool, and beef cattle are bred. The farm has horses, working dogs, hens and a pet dog.
There are also wild kangaroos, echidnas, goannas and emus roaming the property as well as a wide variety of bird life.
Farm Activities:
- Relax in the farm cabin and garden.
- Join in on farm activities.
- See the mustering of sheep and cattle and the shearers at work.
- Feed the sheep and cattle.
- Go horse riding
- Feed the hens and collect the eggs.
- Collect fire wood.
- 4WD Farm tours by arrangement maximum 4 people.
- Play Tennis.
- Plant a tree.
- Have a BBQ
The Cabin:
The Dairy Park Cabin is set in a pleasant garden surround. It can accommodate up to 9 guests. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there are 4 bunks in a bunk room. There are also double and single sofa beds.
Guests may:
The beds and bunks have electric blankets and the cabin has both electric and slow combustion wood heating. Linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The living room has a TV and DVD. There is a gas barbeque on the patio.
