Bathurst Region Eats and Drinks (Bre&d) is a community non-profit organisation established in September 2001 to increase the awareness of the Bathurst region and its produce. Bre&d encourages both visitors and residents to experience the unique eats and drinks of the Bathurst region resulting in stimulation of the local economy and community interest in food
Bre&d oversees the management of the Bathurst Region Farmer’s Market, which is held on the fourth Saturday of the month in Bathurst Showground (Market on Saturday 24 February will be held in Lions Berry Park). Bre&d hosts many educational and social events during the year for both the community and the Bre&d Membership. One advantage of membership is to gain early notice of and the ability to pre-purchase tickets to Bre&d Events.
A flagship event of Bre&d was the Annual Bre&d on the Bridge Weekend.
